Originally from Connecticut, Alex jumped at the opportunity to move to Maine shortly after meeting his wife (a native Mainer) at Connecticut College. It was there in New London, that Alex received his bachelor's degree in Psychology while competing at the varsity level in both swimming and water polo. He went on to attain his Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and practiced at some of Maine's premier healthcare institutions, including : Maine Medical Center & MidCoast Hospital.
While house design and functionality had always been of interest to Alex, it wasn't until he and his family completed their own home renovation, that his intrigue related to real estate and home design grew. Whether it's talking about the intricacies of the real estate market or the steps related to shaping a surfboard, Alex enjoys connecting with people of all kinds on a myriad of topics. His strong communication skills, calm demeanor, and market knowledge help his clients navigate the selling and buying process smoothly, while at the same time, achieving their real estate goals.
Alex Hoyt's passion for Maine runs deep. When he's not hiking the trails of Vinalhaven, exploring the woods of his local community, or surfing along the scenic Maine coast, you can find him enjoying the company of his wife and 3 boys in Willard Beach, where they currently reside.
