Treasure Island is a private community, located on one of southern Maine's most popular lakes. Originally known as Blueberry Island, and home to a girls' camp, as well as a boys' camp until the mid-1900s. In the late 1960s, the island was purchased and developed, and today is home to some sixty-five families, who enjoy ''island life'' at its best. Arriving at the parking area, unload your vehicle and transfer your belongings to the Island Queen - private pontoon ferry boat, which takes you to your very own dock, and your island paradise.
